Regular clinic hours are:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8.00am–5.00pm
Saturdays: 9.00–12.00pm (Phone the practice at 9am “on the day” for an appointment. No pre-bookings are accepted for Saturdays)
We would be grateful if you would request sufficient time when making your appointment. If you have multiple problems to discuss with the doctor please ask for a long appointment. Minor procedures usually require more time than the standard consult so please advise reception when booking. These include: removal of skin lesions and insertion or removal of implanon.
If you feel that your problem is more urgent than our first available appointment please advise reception so that we may be able to accommodate your needs.

General Practitioner fees:
Short Script only consultation: $55 (10 minutes)
Standard consultation: $92 (15 minutes)
Long consultation: $165 (30 minutes)
Extended consultation: $220 (45 minutes)
Patients are asked to pay their invoice on the day of their visit. EFTPOS facilities are available for payments. We do not routinely bulk bill.
If you are seeing the doctor for an insurance or employment medical, please fax or email the medical requirement documents to us ahead of time with your contact details so we may advise you on the length of appointment time you need and the associated fee.
Please be sure to discuss with your doctor the cost involved with procedural items such as skin excisions and immunisations. Most minor surgery procedures will involve a co-payment for all patients. The cost of immunisations are generally not covered by Medicare.

Cavenagh Medical reserves the right to charge for appointments when the patient does not turn up and does not notify the practice at least 24 hours beforehand.
Medicare online services mean that if you have lodged your bank account details with Medicare, you will receive your rebate usually within 48-72 hours. Please check with reception to ensure your account with us is set-up for this to occur.
