We are monitoring the coronavirus closely and are making the relevant adjustments to our practice to keep our patients and our team members as safe as possible. If you are visiting the clinic and have a fever or cough, please advise our reception by phone so that they can provide you with further instructions before your arrival. In an endeavour to comply with social distancing requirements we are reducing the number of patients in our waiting room by asking you to come to your appointment alone. Your partner, friend or companion are welcome to wait in the car for you but we ask that they do not wait in the waiting room for you.
We have also created a coronavirus leaflet to assist you with important information. Please click the button below to download a copy of the flyer. Thank you for co-operation with these new processes and we look forward to working with you through these difficult times.
Our opening hours on Tuesday night have changed. We will now close at 6.30pm Tuesday evenings. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our core reason for being is caring for the community.
We offer a family friendly GP practice and service with a smile. Located in Darwin CBD, our clinic welcomes new patients and our long-standing regulars. We are able to see walk in patients.
Our facility is well supported by our onsite Pathology collection, nursing staff, psychologist, and our regular general practitioners. We use a treatment room for skin cancer surgery, minor surgical procedures, spirometry, ECG, audiology and allergy testing. We offer comprehensive family and individual services including baby checks, childhood immunisation, pregnancy care, care for disabled and elderly as well as their carers, care in times of cancer, workplace and general medicals, travel vaccinations including yellow fever and skin cancer and allergy clinics.
We aim to offer access to medical care on the day and we also provide advanced appointment bookings for your convenience. Appointments can be made in person at Cavenagh Medical Centre from 7.55am or by telephone during our business hours.
Please note, while we endeavour to make your regular doctor available sometimes this is not always possible on the day you need to be seen. This is why we offer a consistent and seamless team approach so that interaction with any of our doctors provides you with an optimum health outcome.
